*Retour sur la tournée des Htmlles en Europe de l'est EXPORT2*

HTMlles EXPORT 2, le volet mobile du Festival HTMlles, a fait voyager 
cinq artistes canadiennes (Chantal Dumas, Caroline Martel, Joanna 
Berzowska, Jennifer Willet et Michelle Teran), deux oeuvres web (par 
Emily Hermant at Andreja Kuluncic), deux oeuvres web (par Emily Hermant 
et Andreja Kuluncic), et une commissaire, Kyd Campbell, dans les villes 
de Belgrade, Sophia et Istanbul entre le 19 et le 31 octobre 2006.

Le StudioXX produit à chaque deux ans une tournée de son festival 
biannuel d'arts médiatiques et de cyber art HTMlles, qui permet à des 
artistes participant à la dernière édition de voyager avec leur récent 
projet.

Lors de ce 5 à 7, les artistes de la tournée seront présentes pour 
parler de leur expérience, du contexte culturel où elles ont présenté 
leur travail et des contacts qu'elles ont pu faire en Serbie, en 
Bulgarie et en Turquie. Un vin sera servi autour de présentations de 
photos et de vidéos.

    .dpi no8 :: Cultiver la mobilité [1 fév]

Lancement du 8 ième numéro de la revue en ligne *.dpi*, le deuxième 
numéro sur la thématique de la mobilité qui en considère cette fois les 
aspects socio-culturels. Avec des articles de Nat Muller (NL) 
commissaire indépendante travaillant notamment autour des pratiques 
d'artistes du Moyen-Orient, Laiwan (Vancouver) artiste et auteure 
reconnue pour sa pratique interdisciplinaire ancrée dans la poésie et la 
philosophie et Ana Rewakowicz (Montréal) artiste en sculpture et en 
performance intégrant les thématiques du nomadisme et de l'espace public.

*Revisiting the voyage of the Htmlles in eastern Europe, EXPORT2*

"The HTMlles EXPORT 2" artists mobility project included the travel of 
five Canadian artists(Chantal Dumas, Caroline Martel, Joanna Berzowska, 
Jennifer Willet, Michelle Teran), two web art works (by Emily Hermant 
and Andreja Kuluncic), and one Canadian curator (Kyd Campbell) and seven 
projects to the cities of Belgrade, Sofia and Istanbul between the dates 
of October 19th and 31st, 2006. Biannually, StudioXX produces a touring 
project which allows for artists who have participated with their works 
in the most recent edition of the HTMlles Festival for Media Art + 
Networked Practices in Montreal to travel with their projects.

During this evening presentation the artists from the tour will talk 
about their experiences, their new contacts and the cultural contexts 
they had the chance to work in, in Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey. Video, 
photos and stories and wine will be shared.

    .dpi 8 :: Cultivating mobility [1 Feb]

The launch of *.dpi 8*, StudioXX's on-line magazine, the second issue on 
the theme of mobility which considers the socio-cultural aspects of 
mobility. With articles from Nat Muller (NL), an independent curator and 
critic interested mainly in the media and art of the Middle East, Laiwan 
(Vancouver), an artist and writer recognized for her interdisciplinary 
practice based in poetics and philosophy, and Ana Rewakowicz (Montreal), 
a sculpture and performance artist and researcher questioning the notion 
of nomadism and the public space.
