Web allows you to get accustomed to Macromedia Flash.

*Circuit Bending avec MINI*

Circuit bending est une manière créative de générer des bruits de façon 
aléatoire en modifiant les circuits internes de différents objets, dont 
par exemple des jouets pour enfants et synthétiseurs. Mini démistifiera 
la pratique du «bending» et expliquera en termes simples comment donner 
une deuxième vie à un vieux jouet, afin de créer vos propres instruments.

Les participants doivent apporter au moins un jouet électronique sonore 
à piles, qui seront modifier pendant cet atelier pratique. Les 
participants seront invités a prendre part à une représentation publique 
expérimentale à la Sala Rosa, plus tard dans la soirée.

Wikipedia: "Circuit bending is the creative short-circuiting of low 
voltage, battery-powered electronic audio devices such as guitar 
effects, children's toys and small synthesizers to create new musical 
instruments and sound generators. Emphasizing spontaneity and 
randomness, the techniques of circuit bending have been commonly 
associated with noise music, though many more conventional contemporary 
musicians and musical groups (such as Devo) have been known to 
experiment with "bent" instruments."

Participants should each bring at least one used electronic toy *that 
generates sound and is battery operated* to modify during the course of 
this hands-on workshop. Students are invited to participate in a live 
experimentation at the Sala Rossa later that evening.
