Informed by her personal production as a curator, media artist and writer and as a member of the Spacearts Scientific Committee, Czegledy has unique access and insights into the projects and the ramifications of our cultural fascination with outer space. more details to come...

participation : le corps social The Social Body is a video and web installation in which surfers on the web, through their responses, affect a body modelled in fat. Demonstrating the powerful effect of ideas on matter by a process of "art-statistics", this sensitizing device evokes the massive influence of the social body on each individual one. In the summer 2005, Stéphanie Lagueux has worked in the lab of Studio XX to achieve an extension of her projet /le corps social/ ( the social body). With the invaluable help of Jean-Sébastien Sénéchal, an artist and programmer, the web site and the installation are now interconnected with a database wich keep results of visitors activity on the website. The installation was presented at Studio XX on the Journées de la culture and will stay in situ for few weeks. The website has been upgraded and translated, in part, in over last few days.
