Salon Femmes br@nchées
63 : music + interactivity
Thursday June 8th 2006, 5pm
Studio XX is proud to collaborate with the Suoni Per il Popolo Festival
(Sounds for the People Festival) in presenting three innovative artists
who use new technologies in their compositions and in their musical
and/or vocal performances. Studio XX is pleased to welcome Swiss artist,
Franziska Baumann, during her stay
for the Suoni Per il Popolo Festival, and has invited two excellent
local artists, Diane Labrosse as well
as Cléo Palacio-Quintin, in
order to enrich the discussions of ideas and practices around music
and interactivity. Always within a warm and informal setting, this
salon will include demonstrations of the electronic instruments conceived
by the artists themselves (sensorial glove, hyper flute, etc.).
