J.R. Carpenter

J. R. Carpenter is a web artist, zine-maker, and writer of poetry, very short fiction, long fiction, non-fiction and web-based non-linear intertextual hypermedia narratives. Sometimes she does these things separately, sometimes all at once. She studied Life Drawing and Anatomy at the Art Students’ League of New York and Fibres and Sculpture at Concordia University in Montreal, where she has served as President of the Board of Directors of OBORO, an artist-run gallery and new media lab, since 2006.
