Launch of Electronic Journal .dpi #14!

The conservation and archiving of digital artworks are important practices. How do you document Web art wherein the experience and journey of each visitor is different? Can we define authenticity when the restoration of an artwork necessitates the use of new equipment? What becomes of artworks when software becomes obsolete or is no longer used on the market and needs replacing? Scholars worldwide are grappling with these issues at present. Electronic journal .dpi will weigh in once again in this second edition focusing on the theme of archiving in the digital era.

Supported by the famous magazine La vie en Rose and StudioXX, jesuisfeministe.com, a blog of young feminists from the province of Québec, has just been launched (October 2008). This project of electronic correspondences is born from the motivation to break the isolation of young French speaking feminists, to give them a place where they can express themselves freely, furiously and joyfully.
