Chantal Dumas

Chantal Dumas uses sound to explore new possibilities for narration. Since 1993 she has been conceiving and producing works for radio as a freelance writer; her “stories” have been heard on public radio and at festivals in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. She is also active in musical improvisation.

Michelle Kasprzak

Michelle Kasprzak is a curator, writer, and orator based in Edinburgh. Michelle has exhibited and lectured across North America and Europe. She has appeared in numerous publications and on radio and television broadcasts including BBC Scotland, BBC Wales, CBC national, and other programmes syndicated worldwide. She completed her MA in Visual and Media Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal in spring of 2006, and later that year was awarded a curatorial research residency at the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art in Helsinki, Finland.

Eliane Ellbogen

Eliane Ellbogen is a Montreal-based curator and Artistic Director of Eastern Bloc, a New Media production and exhibition centre, which she co-founded in 2007. After completing a BA in Art History at McGill University, she has involved herself in the local art scene, as writer/director of multimedia theatre works, graphic designer and zine maker, and more recently, as independent curator, festival organizer and femme à tout faire.

Christine Redfern

Notes: 

Artist living and working in Montreal, Christine Redfern is also a
writer and independent curator. She has degrees in Studio Arts (BFA,
Concordia University, 1989) and Biomedical Communications (BSc.,
University of Toronto, 1994).

Mercedes Perez Bergliaffa

A visual artist from Argentina, Mercedes Perez Bergliaffa is involved in both art production and Art History research as they are related to social isues. She studied in Visual Arts and Art History at the National University of La Plata (UNLP), Argentina. In 1999, she effected a residency at the Center for Multimedia in the Czech Republic. In 2001, with a grant from the Antorchas Foundation she went to work at the Banff Centre for the Arts (Canada). During 2000 and 2002, she organised art exhibitions and events, and was a curatorial assistant in Argentina and Italy.

Nina Czegledy

Nina Czegledy is an independent media artist, curator and writer, who has collaborated on international projects, produced digital works, and lead and participated in workshops, forums and festivals. Electromagnetic Bodies, Digitized Bodies Virtual Spectacles, and the Aurora projects reflect her interests in art, science, and technology and focus on the changing perception of the human body.
