Digital Ludology is a game art creation initiative produced by Studio XX with support from The Canada Council for the Arts.

Digital Ludology, which have run from October 2008 to June 2009, bring together selected Artists Myriam Bizer, Ginger Coons, Stéphanie Lagueux, Sandra Lavoie, Jonathan L'Écuyer and Allison Moore with leading game industry professionals, providing them with free comprehensive professional development workshops focusing on Blender’s 3D animation software (Julien Beauséjour and Alexandre Quessy), open source game engine, interactive scriptwriting (Marc Roberge), project management and gameplay theory (Heather Kelley and Cindy Poremba).

The results of their work were presented to the public for the first time in June 2009.

In November 2010, co-curators Emilie Grenier and Cindy Poremba invites you to explore imaginative worlds and playful encounters in The Digital Ludology Space of the HTMlles Festival.

In Ludologie numérique au festival HTMlles : des jeux attentifs à l'espace, an article from the electronic journal .dpi 19, Amélie Paquet discusses the Digital Ludology exhibition, revealing how three unique gaming experiences explore relationships between humans and territories as well as question belonging.

As we resist - or converge with - a globally interconnected future, is it relevant to define our origins and explore common values?

Can we have more than one <home> </land> at anny given time, or no <home> </land> at all? Whose rights are recognized in what homelands?
