Studio XX empowers women in their use of technology by offering a wide range of workshops throughout the year such as website development, sound and image processing, electronics, 3D animation, programming, digital storytelling and more. Our workshops focus on transmitting expertise, knowledge and enjoyment. Studio XX offers advanced professional development workshops as well as short introductory sessions. Courses are designed in relation to the development of technologies as well as on the needs of artists and members from all backgrounds. Studio XX can also create specialized courses based on member requests.

SANDDE is a new stereoscopic 3D animation system that allows the user to draw in stereoscopic 3D space, and sculpt lines as if manipulating a wire sculpture. 

DRUPAL Customized Workshop

This 4 week session will cover intermediate topics in Drupal website development, based on topics suggested by the participants.

Digital Storytelling – Multimedia production for Multiplatform distribution

Participants will learn theoretical and practical skills on how to construct powerful short stories through the use of digital video, audio and photos as well as exploring the potential for interactivity.

The goal of this course is to help artists gain skills useful in the development of interactive installations. Participants will be introduced to programming with Arduino and MAX/MSP with the goal of creating a project integrating software and electronic circuits.
