The beginner level pure data course aims to familiarize participants with the basics of this system in the context of multidisciplinary art. The course will explore the theoretical and practical side of certain basic operations, communicating with the "external world", and the differences between various types of data. Participants will also learn how to seek help on Pure Data using online software communities available on the Internet. Certain essential GEM (3D authoring environment) and audio functions will also be looked at and explored... Also, the course will explore basic notions about free software and the surrounding communities. Each session will also present certain theoretical notions that will be put immediately into practice.
